DAP veteran Lim Kit Siang has slammed MCA president Liow Tiong Lai for “saying one thing to the Chinese but giving a different impression to the Malays”, accusing him of “political dishonesty and chicanery”.

“Instead, Liow resorted to the tactics of the desperate and the reckless - launching invective personal attacks on me to distract attention from the serious questions I have raised,” Lim said in a statement today.

His remarks were in response to MCA leader Chai Kim Sen who asked whether Lim was suffering from amnesia, for being unable to recall that MCA had declared its stance on the issue of the private member's bill tabled by PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang numerous times.
