Anticipation reached a fever pitch as MRANTI’s Global Accelerator Programme (GAP) Demo Day 2023 unfolded, unveiling a stellar lineup of upcoming tech giants. A total of 20 start-up companies participated in the 7th cohort, five of which are from the Agriculture industry, 12 from the Medicine and Healthcare scene, two companies hail from the Drone sector and one from the Business Services and Finance field.

GAP was established to bring companies from ideation to globalisation providing a robust platform that goes beyond mere incubation. With a holistic approach to entrepreneurship, MRANTI GAP is dedicated to nurturing the entire lifecycle of a company, offering not only financial support but also mentorship, networking opportunities, and strategic guidance.

Throughout the accelerator, participating companies underwent an intensive eight-week programme consisting of masterclasses, mentorship and industry engagements, culminating in the Demo Day. During which, these companies will pitch their solutions to leading industry players, global investors, and the business community to receive further support and expedite the development of their innovative solutions.

“Tailoring its approach to cater to the unique needs of various industries, MRANTI GAP presents a multifaceted support system through three meticulously designed modules: commercialisation, expansion, and investment & funding. Each module serves as a strategic guide, imparting invaluable insights and expertise to companies and entrepreneurs at different stages of their growth journey, said Datuk Wira Dr. Haji Rais Hussin, CEO of MRANTI.

MRANTI modules are not only geared towards enhancing business management but also towards fostering a holistic understanding of the intricacies involved in successful expansion and securing vital investment and funding. The thoughtful planning behind each module reflects MRANTI GAP's commitment to delivering a comprehensive educational experience that goes beyond conventional business support, empowering participants to navigate the complexities of the business landscape with confidence and proficiency.

“As we gather here today, it is evident that Malaysia is on a transformative journey towards becoming a high-tech nation by 2030. The innovative technologies showcased reflect the potential and determination embedded within our ecosystem. MRANTI GAP, in its dedication to fostering these cutting-edge ventures, plays a pivotal role in realising our collective vision for Malaysia as a global hub for technological innovation,” he added.
