KPJ Healthcare Berhad (“KPJ Healthcare” or the “Group”) through its premier educational institution, KPJ Healthcare University ("KPJU"), entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (“MoU”) with Trusx Malaysia Sdn Bhd (“Trustr”), a global digital health organisation, in a transformative step towards revolutionising healthcare.

The collaboration will focus on leveraging Trustr's innovative AI-driven digital health suite including its health wallet and non-invasive vitals and biomarkers measurement tool which utilises facial scanning technology to extract vital health information without invasive procedures or blood samples. This technology has wide-ranging applications, including early disease detection, remote health monitoring, and non-communicable disease (NCD) management. Once technology validations are completed in KPJU, the Group intends to pilot the application of this technology to patients via digital channels and retail facilities.

The MoU signing ceremony was attended by key representatives from KPJ Healthcare, KPJU and Trustr including Dr. Nik Fawaz Nik Abdul Aziz, Chief Operating Officer (Group Allied and Retail Health Operations) of KPJ Healthcare; Vidyasagar Gudapati, Chief Technology Officer of Trusx Plus (Trustr); Datuk Dr. Senasi, Chairman of Trusx Malaysia (Trustr); Ananth Subramanian, Vice Chairman and Global CEO of Trusxplus Inc (Trustr), USA and Dr. Mizarina Abu Bakar, Chief Executive Officer of KPJU.
