As part of Shopee’s 10th anniversary, it reaffirmed the platform’s dedication to empowering local businesses and content creators in a fast-evolving digital world.

At dedicated brand experience booths, affiliates explored new releases, shared insightful reviews, and connected with brands in real-time. The event also introduced Brand-Affiliate Livestream Matchmaking, a high-energy session where top Shopee Affiliates boosted brand visibility through interactive live streams—just in time for the festive shopping season.
Empowering Affiliates with New Growth Opportunities

“Raya is all about inclusivity, which inspired us to create Shopee Rumah Terbuka. We wanted an open, welcoming space where KOLs can effortlessly connect with brands in a relaxed setting. Beyond just showcasing products, our goal is to foster real conversations—that’s why we had live stream sessions and hosts actively engaging audiences,” said Tan Ming Kit, Head of Marketing and Business Intelligence at Shopee Malaysia.
This year, the company introduced strategic initiatives such as Livestream Ads Incentives and the Content Creator Club to help affiliates scale their businesses and refine their engagement strategies.

“Our platform has also empowered many local sellers, some of whom have achieved remarkable milestones, generating RM2 million to RM5 million in sales. Through affiliate partnerships, content creators can leverage their unique skills—whether in beauty, electronics, lifestyle and more to drive brand awareness and sales,” Ming Kit added.
Content-driven commerce is transforming consumer behavior, with Shopee Affiliates bridging brands and shoppers through engaging content. In 2024, affiliate-driven orders surged by 81%, reflecting growing trust in affiliate-led shopping. As interactive shopping gains momentum, Shopee Live orders soared by 248%, underscoring the critical role of content creators in today’s digital economy.
Learning from the Best: Insights from Top Content Creators

Attendees also participated in an exclusive knowledge-sharing session with top content creators Khairul Aming and Iman Kamil, gaining valuable insights on affiliate marketing, content strategies, and brand collaborations.
“Livestreaming can feel overwhelming at first, but with the right support and community, anyone can grow into it. Start small, stay authentic, and explore the endless possibilities in this space,” said Khairul Aming.
Iman Kamil echoed this sentiment, emphasising the importance of staying consistent and disciplined in creating content. He highlighted that maintaining a steady stream of engaging material not only builds audience trust but also strengthens a creator’s presence in the digital space.

Shopee Affiliates had direct access to some of Malaysia’s biggest brands, including 3CE, 888 Tea & Coffee, Beauty of Joseon, Kérastase, L’Oréal Paris, UNIQ, Wardah, ZUS Coffee, and many more. These brands showcased their latest products, demonstrating the vital role of affiliate marketing in driving e-commerce growth.
Adding to the excitement, Shopee announced De Fam as the official brand ambassador for the Ramadan Raya 2025 campaign. The popular girl group will take over Shopee Mamak’s official livestream account on 10 March at 8:30 PM, engaging fans with interactive game shows and exclusive content throughout Ramadan.
