MALAYSIAN dairy brand, Farm Fresh Berhad was once again named Brand of the Year in Dairy Products category at the 2025-2026 World Branding Awards ceremony held at Osaka City Museum of Fine Arts recently. This is their third win since their first one in 2022. Farm Fresh is again the sole winner in the Dairy Products category from Malaysia to be selected for this year’s award.
The World Branding Awards is the premier awards programme of the World Branding Forum,and winners are uniquely judged through three streams – brand valuation, consumer market research, and public online voting. This year, an impressive 91,000 consumers across 66 countries and all seven continents cast their votes to honour the brands they trust and love most.

Farm Fresh Berhad is Malaysia’s largest homegrown dairy company. Through its subsidiaries, the Group operates on a “grass-to-glass” model that engages in the business activities of farming, manufacturing and distributing various dairy and plant-based products.

Farm Fresh’s robust market presence extends across various product segments, from ready-to-drink (RTD) chilled and ambient products to yoghurts, plant-based alternatives, and ice cream. Growth has been driven by investments in research and development (R&D), enabling them to introduce various new products, including a powder variant of Farm Fresh Grow, Australian organic milk, consumer packaged goods (CPG) ice cream, chocolate malt beverage newly launched cultured milk and butter.
Having ascended to the position of Malaysia’s largest integrated producer of dairy products, Farm Fresh is poised to further expand their presence within the Asia Pacific region. The Group exports its ready-to-drink dairy and plant-based products to Singapore, Brunei, the Philippines and Cambodia. The Group has also done reverse investments in farms and milk processing plant in Australia, enabling the Group to export the milk ingredients from its factory in Victoria, Australia to Malaysia, the Philippines and other global customers including in the Middle East. Farm Fresh has also commenced operations at its new factory in the Philippines, producing pasteurized milk for the Metro Manila region.
Farm Fresh believes in doing well by doing good. At the heart of Farm Fresh’s core value proposition is a steadfast commitment to delivering nutritious products that are free from preservatives, artificial colourings, flavourings and hidden sugar such as maltodextrin for its chilled, ambient ready-to-drink and powder products. This product ethos has been committed by Farm Fresh since the early days when the focus was on fresh milk right to its growing up milk products which is made with whole milk powder, with all the fortifications and without any unnecessary and harmful additives.

At Farm Fresh, the health and welfare of its livestock is crucial to the quality of its products, the reputation of the brand and the resilience of its business. Healthy, well-treated dairy cows produce the best milk. All Farm Fresh’s farms adhere to Good Animal Husbandry Practices (GAHP) as published by the Department of Veterinary Services, which sets detailed standards for animal nutrition, healthcare and housing, the Malaysian Good Agricultural Practices (MyGAP) and standards set by the World Organisation for Animal health. Each farm is supported by a dedicated animal healthcare team lead by an Animal Herd and Veterinarian Manager, alongside qualified veterinarians and animal science graduates. Farm Fresh’s commitment to high welfare standards is affirmed by the Certified Humane ® accreditation, which the Group has received for all completed farms in Malaysia. Farm Fresh is proud being the first dairy company in Asia to obtain the internationally recognised certification, which is only made possible with its compassionate and responsible practices towards the humane treatment of dairy cows.
The Group has stewarded the School Milk Program since 2011 and since 2022, where over 100 million packs of school milk have been distributed to approximately 3,400 schools under the Ministry of Education Malaysia, supported by Farm Fresh’s extensive home dealer network consisting of more than 1,200 microentrepreneurs. Farm Fresh’s innovative home dealer programme revolutionises its distribution networks in rural Malaysia, providing access to Farm Fresh products in areas without major grocery stores or supermarkets. Through its first-of-its-kind programme, Farm Fresh empowers independent entrepreneurs to earn commissions by distributing its products within their communities, while simultaneously advocating the nutritional benefits of its dairy products to their network. This has earned the Group the ASEAN Inclusive Business Award in 2020 for its contribution to developing micro-entrepreneurs in Malaysia via its Home Dealer network.
As part of Farm Fresh’s efforts to uplift hardcore poor students with education, nutrition and living standards, the Group have launched the Multidimensional Human Capital Development Programme in 2023, committing nearly RM2 million to set up and run special community centres in areas with high numbers of hardcore poor students. In collaboration with the Malaysian Ministries of Education and Health, and Yayasan Didik Negara, the Group have now established ten (10) special community centres in Peninsular Malaysia, providing access to education classes and nutritious meals including Farm Fresh product for underprivileged students. On top of that, the Group has started to provide scholarships to underprivileged students from B40 families with monthly financial aid under the Farm Fresh Berhad STPM Student Bursary Programme. Through these initiatives, the Group aim to create deeper, more lasting impact for underprivilege students and their families, while contributing meaningfully to national talent development and equitable access to education and nutritional products from Farm Fresh.
All the efforts of doing well for doing good has culminated in Farm Fresh being awarded platinum award in the Beverage-Dairy category for the fourth consecutive year, Putra Brand Marketer of the Year and Putra Brand Icon of the Year at the prestigious 2024 Putra Brand Awards. Winning Platinum for the fourth consecutive year solidifies Farm Fresh’s position as Malaysia’s No.1 dairy brand.
