KUALA LUMPUR — REGENERASI’s youth-led sustainability movement has achieved a milestone moment as #MYPalmPride 2025 surpassed 10 million global reach in just six months transforming what began in 2024 as a national youth conversation into a worldwide movement.
Launched on 1 June 2025, the second edition of #MYPalmPride expanded across borders, with youth leaders from Malaysia, Australia and Southeast Asia driving a powerful narrative on sustainable palm oil. Through digital storytelling, campus outreach and international dialogues, the campaign continued to strengthen Malaysia’s voice in global sustainability.

This milestone solidified youth leadership as a respected and influential voice in shaping the future of sustainable palm oil.
"Reaching 10 million is honestly a shock to us, far beyond our expectations! This is not our finish line, but a reminder that the world is listening. Youth are leading. And when purpose meets passion, transformation accelerates," said Datin Emilia Uzir, President of REGENERASI.
Academic Collaborators - UCSI University, FELCRA College, Al-Bukhary International University (AIU) and International Islamic College (IIC) played key roles in empowering students to examine, challenge, and communicate the value of sustainable palm oil on their own terms.

Global Expansion- REGENERASI Australia joined the movement, giving Malaysian youth abroad a platform to voice their perspectives on sustainability, ethics, and leadership.
“Malaysia’s youth play a pivotal role in shaping a responsible and sustainable future. Through the #MYPalmPride campaign, I am encouraged to see a new generation leading with integrity and purpose,” shared Tan Sri Dr. Madinah Mohamad, Patron of REGENERASI.
“Journeying with REGENERASI has been enlightening. My advice is simple: talk to youth, and even more importantly listen to them. Our role is to light the spark, not dictate the flame,” said Professor Joseph Tek Choon Yee, Mentor at REGENERASI.
The extraordinary rise of #MYPalmPride proves that:
Youth are ready to take charge of sustainability narratives.
The world is willing to listen when youth speak with authenticity.
Malaysia’s story of sustainable palm oil deserves global clarity and youth are the strongest voices to tell it.
For the first time, REGENERASI’s International Youth Ambassadors from Afghanistan, Sudan and Zimbabwe took part in the Nutrition Satellite Symposium at PIPOC 2025, representing REGENERASI on an international scientific stage. They gained insights into nutrition innovation, palm oil applications and future food systems, reinforcing the global depth of REGENERASI’s youth network.
In a landmark recognition, REGENERASI was appointed Youth Partner at RT2025 by the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO). REGENERASI Youth stood prominently as part of the official delegates, with representatives speaking on stage as panel speakers, interviewing global industry leaders, and engaging with youth delegates from countries around the world.
REGENERASI’s initiatives also caught the attention of the Council of Palm Oil Producing Countries (CPOPC), which expressed interest in deeper global youth engagement, marking an important step toward international collaboration.
#MYPalmPride campaign is no longer just about palm oil but it is about identity, innovation, and the limitless power of youth. From TikTok explainers to campus dialogues, from storytelling labs to global youth partnerships, the movement has uplifted and empowered thousands of young changemakers to step up, speak out, and be proud of the truth.
Because when young people own their truth, the impact doesn’t end, but it echoes, expands, and changes the world.
