Not every journey begins with a boarding pass. Some begin with scissors, glue, and a child asking what a place called Yehliu Geopark might look like.
That curiosity is now being channelled nationwide through MuzArt CréArte 2025/2026: Boundless Art, Beautiful Taiwan, a creative art campaign by MuzArt International, Malaysia’s leading children’s art education brand, supported by the Taiwan Tourism Administration Kuala Lumpur Office.
The programme invites children to explore Taiwan’s culture and landscapes through 3D art, offering a hands-on way to engage with places they may only know by name.
This year’s theme builds on earlier MuzArt CréArte campaigns that introduced global destinations into children’s creative worlds, including editions inspired by Switzerland and Hong Kong. The idea has remained consistent: use art not just to teach technique, but to spark curiosity about the wider world.
For the 2025/2026 edition, around 1,200 children nationwide are expected to participate. Each child will create a 3D artwork inspired by Taiwanese landmarks and natural landscapes such as Taipei 101, Sun Moon Lake, Alishan and Yehliu Geopark.
Every piece must also feature MuzArt’s signature Mr Muz character, creating a shared visual thread while leaving ample space for individual interpretation.

Every participating artwork will be publicly exhibited, not just the winners. Ten outstanding pieces will receive special recognition, but the campaign is designed to value participation as much as excellence, an approach that resonates with parents looking for experiences that build confidence in their children rather than pressure.
Beyond the art itself, the programme positions creativity as a gateway to broader learning. As children research, visualise and construct unfamiliar places, they begin absorbing ideas about geography, heritage and culture in ways that feel natural rather than instructional.
“Art helps children see beyond their immediate surroundings,” said MuzArt International Founder and CEO Shannics Teh. “Through this collaboration, we want them to discover Taiwan not just as a travel destination, but as a place full of stories and inspiration. More than anything, we hope it nurtures curiosity, confidence and creativity.”

For the Taiwan Tourism Administration Kuala Lumpur Office, the partnership represents a different route to destination awareness - one that begins with families. Director Chou Shih-Pi noted that engaging children through creativity opens the door to deeper cultural understanding, while encouraging parents and children to begin conversations about Taiwan through shared exploration.
A child building a papercup version of Taipei 101 rarely works alone for long. Parents help look up images, siblings offer their views on colour choices, and casual conversations begin to include questions about where Taiwan is, what people eat there, and what it might be like to visit one day. Over time, those small moments add up to broader awareness.

The MuzArt CréArte 2025/2026: Boundless Art, Beautiful Taiwan campaign runs from January to March 2026, during which children across the country will be working on their creations, followed by judging and online voting in April and May. Finalists and winners will be announced in May.
