The Game Changer Leadership Club has been officially launched. The platform is not designed as a classroom for entrepreneurs to attend lectures or theory sessions. Instead, it serves as a practical resource platform that business owners can turn to at critical stages of growth, so important decisions do not have to be made alone.

In many cases, entrepreneurs are not lacking effort. What they often lack is the right platform that provides timely support and direction when it matters most.

The Game Changer Leadership Club is initiated by the Malaysia Game Changer Foundation, a non-profit organisation incorporated under the Prime Minister’s Department of Malaysia. The foundation provides institutional backing to support the platform’s development.

As businesses grow, many encounter similar challenges. Operations may be running well, yet when a major turning point arises, business owners are unsure who to consult. They may wish to access government support but do not know the proper channels. They may aspire to enter higher-level networks but remain on the periphery.

These challenges are rarely due to a lack of hard work. More often, they stem from gaps in resources, direction and access to the right circles.

In terms of resource integration, the Game Changer Leadership Club draws on the experience and government–business engagement network built over the years through the Lang International Corporate Titan Awards, also known as LICTA. Through this ecosystem, participating businesses can better understand and systematically connect with relevant government and development agencies, reducing information gaps and lowering the cost of trial and error when seeking institutional support.

LICTA has received support from the then Prime Ministers, State Governors, members of the Royal Family, Ministers and Deputy Ministers, leaders of both Houses of Parliament, Members of Parliament and State Assemblies, as well as senior leadership from various government-established entrepreneur development agencies.

Multiple government-established entrepreneur development agencies including SME Corp Malaysia, MARA, FINAS, SKM, SME Bank, EXIM Bank, MDEC, SJPP, PERNAS, MyIPO, MATRADE, CIDB, TalentCorp and HRD Corp, were honoured on the LICTA platform.

The organisers emphasise that the Game Changer Leadership Club does not promise guaranteed success. Its purpose is to help businesses reduce unnecessary detours and avoid costly misjudgements, especially at pivotal moments. Many companies do not fail because they lack capability, but because of misaligned direction or unsuitable resource choices.
