Returning after a two-year hiatus, Cosmoprof and Cosmopack Asia 2022 will be held outside their hometown of Hong Kong for the very first time in 24 years. The leading B2B event in Asia Pacific for all sectors of the beauty industry will run from November 16 to 18, 2022 at Singapore EXPO, taking advantage of the city-state’s ease of entry for international travelers as well as their safety-first approach.

Over 1,200 exhibitors from 46 countries and regions will make up the international line up, offering a compelling event for the expected 15,000 local and global visitors excited to return to Cosmoprof, reconnect with the industry’s leading suppliers and renew their experience of the region’s industry-shaping brands and trends.

“Cosmoprof and Cosmopack Asia are proud to return to the physical event format, offering world-wide exhibitors and consumers a safe venue in which to meet and greet suppliers, experience products in-person, and learn about the region’s most compelling trends,” said David Bondi, Senior Vice President – Informa Markets Asia and Director of Cosmoprof Asia Ltd.

GLOBAL BEAUTY SHOWCASE

The largest Singapore pavilion ever presented at a Cosmoprof Asia event will showcase over 50 companies offering a cross-section of Singapore-born and based beauty and wellness. The core pavilion will be joined by 17 overseas national and group pavilions from every corner of the world, including Australia, California, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, Mainland China, Malaysia, Poland, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Türkiye and the UK. In addition, the Global Shea Alliance will present 10 exhibitors from four West African countries for the very first time, with products from Benin, Burkina Faso, Mali and Togo, giving attendees a truly global perspective on emerging trends.

EMERGING TRENDS

Attendees can expect to discover the next-level evolution of post-pandemic trends with buzz-words plant-based, sustainable and high-tech reaching across products, packaging and services. The fusion of technology and nature promises to make it easy for consumers to do the right thing, demonstrating a true priority for the world’s, as well as humanity’s, wellness.

Vegan, Plant-Based Goodness

Attendees will be fascinated to discover the cabbage mask by South Korean TNTN MOM, created with vegan-certified and EWG Green-grade materials grown in the fertile volcanic soil of Jeju Island, offering a skincare product safe enough for mothers-to-be. Also from Korea, TINAZANA vegan Bakuchiol Comforting Cream is infused with Bakuchiol, a 100-percent natural alternative for anti-aging ingredient retinol, while Austria’s potent Hairlovers vitamins are vegan, all-natural, sugar-free, while fighting hair loss and promoting healthy growth.

Sustainable Packaging For All

What can, and what can’t be recycled? It’s confusing at the best of times, and answering the call for simpler yet sophisticated packaging is Virospack. The Spanish company will present their wide range of 100-percent recyclable droppers at Cosmopack Asia. After using up the product inside, consumers can simply throw the entire dropper into plastics recycling. Meanwhile, South Korea’s Yonwoo will showcase their EZ Airless refillable bottle, both offering a huge draw for contentious consumers.

Next-Next-Gen Technology

Technology is our skin’s best friend, and the constant evolution from suppliers ensures each Cosmoprof Asia event introduces first-to-market techniques. Case in point, RedTouch from Italy will offer a laser rejuvenation that can easily and safely treat fine lines on even delicate young skin, while Oxygenceuticals from Korea will present the AstrodomeFacial, a medical and oxygen-rich mist designed for post-LED use to soothe and regenerate the skin.

LIVE DEMOS, PRODUCT PRESENTATIONS, EDUCATIONAL SEMINARS

In addition to product, packaging and service trends, Cosmoprof Asia’s signature CosmoTalks seminars and round-table discussions by industry experts will, as always, attract crowds hungry for the latest industry news. Topics include “Sustainability and Innovation – a journey to Asia”, and “Sustainability Beauty Trends in Packaging & Formulation” on November 16, “Beauty 4.0: Tech, Tools and Trends” on November 17, as well as the market watch presentation discussing China’s cosmetic regulations changes, essential for all companies hoping to crack the Mainland China market, on November 18.
