Yes , NEW is what Malaysia needs, not what we want.

Tomorrow if no party obtains a majority of 112 parliamentary seats, Malaysia will continue to be an unstable country due to the political situation. While our neighboring countries continue to progress, Malaysia will remain at a standstill. Corruption, economic slowdown,  weak currency and the exhausting cycle of constant fighting over power will plunge Malaysia into a deeper crisis.  A storm is brewing as the GE 15 approaches. The results of the election might lead to a crisis or maybe even a disaster if it ends up with a hung parliament. If we are not careful, it will become very messy. 

Under the Constitution, a member of the lower house who gains a majority of support from the member of the house, not the members of the party. As a citizen, our concern must be on the quality of the cabinet members. We must have a NEW qualified Prime Minister who commands confidence to lead this country out of the woods. A cabinet member is like a listed company board member. Unfortunately they do not have a Security Commission (SC) or Bursa Malaysia type of system to not only monitor but also conduct disciplinary action. Lots of rules and regulations in the past did not follow the spirit of our constitution, which is the highest law of Malaysia. The country is racking up too much debt, and there are too many foreign workers as well. For example, just like a company when the company keeps borrowing from the bank. If the company goes bankrupt, the bank will go bankrupt too. And it is also like when there is already so many staff under the company yet they keep on outsourcing and wasting local talent. We are in dire need of a good quality, stable cabinet for the next five years. However, looking at the situation right now, we are not very optimistic. 

What should we do then?

Of course,  we can only hope that the 222 members keep to oath , country come first , Instead of focusing on their own party’s interest, they should practice democracy by letting  the party that wins the highest number of seats lead. For example, let’s say PH obtains 90 to 100 seats, then Dato’ Seri Anwar should be given the chance to lead the country.  At the moment, he is the only leader commanding the confidence both locally and  internationally for Malaysia. He is the better choice that will restore stable administrative power to Malaysia in the next 5 years. Anwar is greatly influenced by the qualities of Nelson Mandela, and he is not vindictive at all. The campaign of satu Kali sudah cukup should not apply to him , the promise for him to  become PM is  not fulfill, I hope this time with the support of the voter, with the  interest of the country future, he will become the NEW Prime Minister of Malaysia.

However, if BN wins the majority of the seats, although they had a few quality  candidate who can be the PM, but they all had been side lined before the election or during the elections, the infighting, the unchanged habits, the lost of direction will never give international confidence in Malaysia. Right the wrong, change, prepare and get ready for GE 16.

Stability is crucial for Malaysia, this GE 15 is a showcase and an educational opportunity for fellow Malaysians to understand the strength and weakness of election system, as compared to the recommendation system and the selection system,  making use of the upper house to identify quality candidates to join the Cabinet to safeguard and protect the nation and the people's interest. The senator system can be a very good option for the next Prime Minister and DYMM to consider. No matter what the outcome is, a new Cabinet with quality will definitely bring stability and give confidence internationally, as well as turn crises into opportunities for Malaysia, our beloved country. 

The country should always come first, and everything else comes second.
