FMM backs plan for 6P workers to be normalised
While the manufacturing sector acknowledges that the three-year term for the 6P legalised foreign workers would come to and end in January 2015, the industry urges the government to consider extending these workers and converting them to normal foreign workers in view of the investment undertaken by employers to train and equip these workers with the right skills set for the manufacturing sector.
