I am a member of the Academic Staff Association of Universiti Malaya (PKAUM) and I attended the event on Monday night. I am glad that Universiti Malaya (UM) can be a place where political speech flows freely and peacefully. I can attest that many who attended were not fawning, bedazzled, naive Anwar Ibrahim devotees.
