Massive Open Online Courses a means of free higher education
Malaysia is the first country that has developed credit recognition policy for online courses, which is Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs). This will allow students to get certificate, diploma and bachelor’s degrees without spending any money since it is the main issue that is of concern to the students after Higher Education Minister Idris Jusoh urged students to take up an additional degree in order to have more opportunities after graduation.
