Water is our most fundamental natural source. It is also very limited. Earth has different sources of water, 96.5 percent is ocean and 2.5 percent is freshwater which includes groundwater and surface water. One percent of our freshwater is easily accessible and potable.

Last year, the government announced that the electricity tariff for domestic and industry will be increase starting from 2016 due to the rebate cut by 33 percent from 2.25 sen per kW/h to 1.52 sen per kW/h. A cut in the power tariff rebate for peninsular Malaysia will see consumers paying 0.73 sen more per kW/h for the first six months of this year. However, the rebate for Sabah and Sarawak remains the same at 1.20 cent per kW/h.
