In response to Home Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi’s proposal to bring in 1.5 million additional Bangladeshi workers into Malaysia, I would like to make a counter-proposal that the government should consider to use the 1 million illegal immigrants who are already here in Sabah.

I was so disappointed when I read the statement by Sabah’s Tourism, Culture and Environment Minister Masidi Manjun who tried to mislead the public and twist the facts by saying that DAP is “inciting hatred to disunite the people”.

Despite many BN ministers and representatives having promised that there will be no toll to be imposed on the proposed Pan-Borneo Highway and it is fully under government expenses, there is still a possibility that government intends to impose toll on this mega project which costs about RM27 billion.
