The government is discussing with the Election Commission about the constitutional amendment needed, says the minister. 

However, there is consensus on lowering voting age to 18.

This includes automatic voter registration and lowering minimum age to run for office, says youth and sports minister.

The new youth and sports minister hopes this can be done before GE15.
