Hosted by H.E. José Ramos-Horta, President of Timor-Leste, and graced by the presence of YAB Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Prime Minister of Malaysia, the “Timor-Leste: Building a Shared Future with ASEAN” dinner brought together diplomats, industry leaders, and changemakers from across the region.

The event celebrated Timor-Leste’s historic entry as ASEAN’s 11th Member State — a milestone symbolising regional solidarity and shared progress. Beyond the celebration, the evening also raised funds for the Timor-Leste Foundation for Children’s Future, supporting education, healthcare, and opportunities for children in need.
