Barricades in Subang Jaya: Tell us something we don't know

I refer to the letter Politicising fear-in-your-home and I am amused by the feigned outrage of the writer. We are all painfully aware and know that:

a. Crime is terrorising residents out of their socks in Subang/USJ.

b. The cops can't cope for a whole lot of reasons/excuses (depending on your personal convictions/sympathies).

c. In the meantime, it remains as much a legal offence to carry a firearm/weapon, as it is to barricade a public road unlawfully.

d.  The federal government is the rightful authority to fix the problem about the cops and to lobby to legalise (?) 'gated and guarded communities'.

What we don't know but would like to be assured of is whether the local assembly person is lending her appearance at the launch of every illegal barricade:

a. As a show of defiance of the law, in solidarity with a 'technically' illegal undertaking?

b. To invite lawful prosecution which could then be manipulated to look like 'political persecution' ?

c. To suggest that she should be voted into Parliament before expecting changes.

d. To seek 'constructive' ideas because she has none.

e. For the public glamour instead of the private drudgery of working away from the limelight in drafting and advancing legislative amendments together with the Subang member of parliament to 'legalise’ such barricades?

f. As a media opportunity to boost her 'photogenic image'?

g. Because the ‘kueh’ and ‘teh tarik’ served on such occasions are irresistible?

h. A bit of each of the above ?
