Which constitution is Ibrahim Ali referring to?

I refer to the Malaysiakini report Ibrahim Ali: Malaysiakini causing 'unrest' .

I found it quite amusing that Ibrahim Ali should mention that Malaysiakini would be a source of 'tension,' and that it should 'only report based on facts.'

Whatever the contents of 'An Introduction to the Federal Constitution,' it is still is merely a book by a former lord president and not the actually the federal constitution itself.

Nowhere under Article 153 does it mention (or anywhere in the constitution for that matter) that citizens are not allowed from talking about the aforementioned article, be it behind closed doors or otherwise.

Article 153 of the constitution does mention the reservation of 'scholarships and other similar educational or training privileges or special facilities' and that it is extended to the 'natives of Sabah and Sarawak’.

In fact, it was further explained in Article 153 that: "Nothing in this Article shall empower Parliament to restrict business or trade solely for the purpose of reservations for Malays and natives of any of the states of Sabah and Sarawak".

If Ibrahim Ali is so quick to censure Malaysiakini to 'only report based on facts,' perhaps he, too, should have realised that speaking based on facts is a two-way street. In saying that, one has to wonder which federal constitution was the man from Perkasa referring to.

If it came to 'reporting on facts,' perhaps the likes of Ibrahim Ali would be more comfortable with certain dailies who have been known to have omitted details and in some cases, fabricated facts and even photographs.
