If Perkasa is really interested in the Malays’ welfare, then they should stop all the rhetoric and start addressing real Malay issues of the day instead of barking over issues they do not have a clue about at all.
Norhafizah Mad Razali, a mother of a 15 year-old lad, has some very important questions for the police.
One too many times we heard the police saying that they were attacked with parangs and machetes. I have personally been on a police raid and I know the police will bring parangs along.
It was reported the ‘police claimed they fired in self-defence as Mohd Shamil and two others - Mohd Hanafi Omar, 22 and Hairul Nizam Tuah, 20, said to be from Cheras - had allegedly charged at police with "machetes" after attempting to rob a petrol station.’
It was also reported that:
‘All three sustained similar gunshots to the chest and head, with Hairul Nizam also shot at the side of his head while Mohd Hanafi was shot at the top of his head.’
All bullets were reported to have penetrated the body and passed through the body indicating that they were shot from close range.
Were they shot for self-defence purposes? That is a question any reasonable person will ask, but that is something we'll not get a reasonable answer for.
Will you ask it these questions for the victims, Perkasa?
The fact that his body was sent to the morgue and that the police who sent it there could not answer any of the questions put to them shows that some people choose to stay away rather than provide the information required in the case.
We heard similar stories about a 14 year-old boy Aminulrasyid, and these stories by the police seem to bear too many similarities.
Forget A Kugan, forget Teoh Beng Hock, we will handle those issues but why can’t you address an issue that goes to the heart of simple Malay families?
Is it because that would be politically incorrect? Is it because that does not concern you? Is it because you condone such actions?
These are fundamental Malay issues; you make a mockery of your own people by telling them stories that are totally unbelievable. I dare Perkasa to get to the bottom of this, and provide us with answers.
Demand a Royal Commission of Inquiry and get it done for the sake of these Malay parents.
