PSD: So much for Najib's meritocracy, transparency

Year in and year out, we hear of deserving students deprived of scholarships and have to put up with appealing through various organisations as well as political parties to right what is wrong.

However, it never seems to abate and has been rampant despite assurances being given by Najib that students obtaining 8A+ and above be automatically given scholarships.

So, what is happening here and why is PSD acting like they are above the directive of Najib? Is there something sinister going on here? Did PSD get instructions from someone else to divert these scholarships to other undeserving candidates? Why is meritocracy being toyed around with?

There are so many questions begging for answers and I am sure they cannot be answered favourably by anyone in the PSD nor Najib's bunch of ministers.

Here we have Najib talking about meritocracy, transparency, equality, and his famous 1Malaysia but alas, his bunch of ministers, and the PSD, seem to be running circles around his policies. This is akin to challenging Najib and daring him to take action against them.

It will definitely not go down favourably with certain groups and Najib may lose their support. So, here we go again in one big circle and in the end, nothing gets solved.

I do not pity Malaysia for losing its talent to more deserving countries like Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Britain, USA and other likes because, despite years of being given a chance to correct the wrongs, there is no political and willpower to do so by the government.

Say what you like about positive changes taking place (which don't seem to be much compared to disdain), the wrongs outweighs the rights by many folds. So, the question again is: will Malaysia ever change for the better?

My opinion is, fat hopes.
