The BN has now won back Malay confidence. PAS and Keadilan has been devastated. That shows Malaysian citizens of all races have rejected all forms of religious politics or any form of government that use religion as its tool to rule.

DAP is the only opposition party that is able to maintain a stronghold in their traditional areas. I believe it is time for DAP to forget about joining any alliance with PAS, Keadilan or any other opposition party in the future. I believe DAP can handle it alone with better organisation and discipline.

Malaysia is not a true democratic country. The ruling party controls the press, judiciary and legislature. I believe DAP is the only party that can fight for a free press and independence of judiciary and legislature.

DAP should get their act together and work hard to remove the obstacle that has prevented Malaysia from achieving a developed country status. And this obstacle is the unfair or discriminating policies towards non-bumiputras in terms of education, business and other aspect of life.

Non-bumiputras have worked hard for at least three generations to build this country. It is time for the ruling party to recognise that non-bumiputras have contributed a lot for the country and deserve equal rights in all aspects of their life.

MCA and Gerakan cannot fight till the end for non-bumiputras because they have too much too lose. The DAP should do it.

The global economy is expanding and Asian countries are progressing much more faster than us. Our country is losing out in R&D and in the hi-tech race. China is getting stronger day by day.

Sooner or later, every country in Asia will have to do business with China. Any entrepreneur or business leader will tell you that to expand your business, you will need to sell to China. Therefore, I believe it is time for DAP to fight for more Chinese school in Chinese majority areas.

And for our country's R&D sector to progress, there must be a meritocracy system in our local universities with regards to the promotion and recognition of non-bumiputra lecturers and also to enable all deserving students to enter and study. The cost of sending our children to study overseas is very expensive and therefore we need more high-standard local universities.

Below are six points that are of most concern to non-bumiputras in Malaysia:

  • Freedom of press and more channels for non-bumiputras to voice out without fear of repercussion;
  • Equal rights for non-bumiputra students to enter local universities;
  • More recognition for the contribution of non-bumiputras to the nation;
  • Elimination of all policies and regulations that discriminate against non-bumiputras;
  • Independence of judiciary and legislature and
  • More Chinese, Tamil and other vernacular schools.

DAP, please focus and fight for the non-bumiputras.
