End negative vibes on MIC crisis through astrology

The founder president of the Malaysian Indian Congress (MIC), John Thivy (1946-1947), must be turning in his grave with the dramatic going-ons and the messes the MIC party leaders seems to be getting into every now and then, over last couple of years.

Despite MIC’s severe setbacks in the last two general elections, I was confident and hopeful that the combination of MIC president G Palanivel and deputy president Dr S Subramaniam would steer the party back into focus.

I was hoping these two fine gentlemen with their professional qualifications and unique and different leadership qualities, would provide the right impetus and focus for the party to rejuvenate and reengineer itself and meet the aspirations the Indian community.

Looking at what is happening now, the Indian community is totally devastated and disgusted with the MIC. It is obvious that some MIC leaders are prepared to destroy the party at the expense of the community.

A straightforward if contentious issue that could have been settled amicably has been deliberately allowed to develop into a monstrous problem.

I salute Subramaniam for his decorum and patience all this while in facing such a hostile and uncooperative president and his cronies, and the indirect ’heat’ from the president’s “kitchen“ (wife).

In this context the latest announcement of Subramaniam that he will contest the MIC president’s post has received tremendous support and brought about a sense of relief to the Indian community.

The community is fed up of the present MIC leadership’s ineffective and highly questionable manoeuvre that is making matters worse for everyone.

The Indian community has been made to look like a laughing stock by the never ending rally of issues raised by the MIC leaders and their factions.

Holding a fresh re-election for all the posts in the party as recommended by the Registrar of Societies (ROS) is the logical and amicable move to settle the current MIC party crisis.

I hope Palanivel will adhere to the ROS guidelines and advise and sincerely work towards putting the house in order for the sake of the Indian community.

MIC members and community at large had enough of the antics and they are seriously looking for closure to this “stinking” drama unfolding on a daily basis in the MIC.

Consult a reliable astrologer

In the meanwhile MIC may want to consider consulting a reliable astrologer and those who practice the science of vastu ( the ancient vedic astrology) to review or scan the MIC logo.

I came across a person who is well versed in the science of astrology and he believes changing the current MIC logo can help bring about a harmonious environment conducive for the party.

According to this astrologer the letters in the logo especially the letter “M” and “C” are somewhat causing negative vibes as both the letters are not written the right way.

Both these two letters apparently are said to be “handicapped” and they are not providing the right vibes. He suggested amending or changing the logo will help bring about a peaceful and harmonious environment in the party.

I generally don’t subscribe to these sorts of superstitious beliefs or predictions but come to think of the number of non-stop hostile problems emerging in the MIC over the years I cannot help but to somewhat believe it.

Who expected two fine gentleman like Palanivel and Subramaniam ending up in this mess to a point that the prime minister and his deputy had to intervene?

If MIC cannot put its house in order how can it ever look into the myriads of problems faced by the poor Indian community in the country?

Once the MIC problems are settled perhaps the new MIC president and his team may want to consider organising a contest among Malaysians to pick a new MIC logo that is vibrant and in sync with the community and the public.
