Is Ramasamy trying to remain relevant by slamming MIC?

One would wonder why Penang Deputy Chief Minister II Professor P Ramasamy of DAP would criticise MIC president Dr S Subramaniam and the MIC on each and every one of his and the party’s efforts.

Ramasamy will even criticise the air that we in MIC breath because he wants to remain relevant to the Indian community. MIC, being the largest Indian-based party and its president now a world-class leader, definitely has the attention of the community. Hence, he thinks the only way to remain relevant is to criticise. It is a trend now that people look out to criticisms and negative comments in social media.

Indira Gandhi’s lawyer is YB M Kulasegaran. Ramasamy probably feels that he should have been in the forefront championing her issue. MIC, even in the past, has helped many of such cases. Dr Subramaniam was instrumental in solving the case of Zarina Abdul Majid.

The only difference between Dr Subra and Ramasamy is that he did not seek publicity. Ramasamy, as we all know, is a publicity freak. He will come down all the way from Penang to address the public in Vivekananda Ashram, while the Indian community is being evacuated out of their dwellings in Penang.

Dr Subramaniam had already stated in his statement that he will continuously strive and solve this issue with the help of the cabinet and the prime minister. So, it is quite obvious that Ramasamy was merely confusing the public to state that he did not mention so. Ramasamy as usual, seems to have run out of ideas that he has to borrow our president’s.
