Gerakan's recent infighting does not give me much hope for any improvement in the day-to-day lives of Penangites.

Instead of facing the reality of a Penang that has deteriorated under Chief Minister Koh Tsu Koon's leadership, they scramble to maintain or increase their own power.

Hasn't the Gerakan leadership heard or read of the frustration that Penangites feel as they watch their island sink under the traffic, pollution, and rubbish?

Frankly, they should be figuring out an exit stategy for Koh Tsu Koon - not how to get him promoted.
