With reference to the letter Homosexuality is a sin by Stefan Hu, I agree that homosexuals should keep their sexual preferences to themselves.

Part of the problem faced by homosexuals is the insistence that society not only accept but also approve of their sexual orientation. I've failed to understand why they should insist on societal acceptance of "gay marriage".

Go ahead, get married for goodness sake (I almost said "for God's sake" but that would be unacceptable to people like Stefan Hu) but don't demand legal recognition of your marriage by society. Most people like Stefan Hu have no objection to homosexuals keeping it in the privacy of their bedrooms.

Just as homosexuals should not use religion "to impose their false ideas and ways on others", people like Stefan Hu should not use their religion to impose their morals and prejudices on others as well. People who are arrogant enough to speak on behalf of God frightens me more than all the homosexuals in the world.
