Thank you so much, Ahmad, for hitting the nail right on the head. Many of us have voiced this out, but we have been deemed to be racist and 'orang pendatang'. But coming from a Malay, you have voiced out the feelings of most right-thinking Malaysians, Malays and non-Malays alike.

You have the advantage of a foreign education and the freedom to experience meritocracy and accountability in a free world. You have done well for yourself, no doubt on a scholarship, but as you said yourself, you could have done it on your own merit.

The Barisan Nasional government is on a road to self destruction, but right now they do not care. Surely they can see the larger picture, but if they were to right the wrongs at this moment, they will lose themselves and that they cannot afford to do.

The sad part is that the Malays do not seem to see this too. It is as if the Malays have put on horse blinkers and cannot see anything else, except for the lies spewed by the politicians.

Come one, come all, let's wake up before it is too late. If the going gets too hot, the Chinese and the Indians may migrate to another land. Where will you go to, my dear Malay brethren? Please wake up to the reality that only meritocracy and fair play will win at the end of the day.
