I refer to the letter by No two Gods the same .

I will not venture to decipher the similarities or differences between the Muslim or Christian beliefs, let alone analyse the Quran or the Bible. I am just a simpleton who believes God is beyond analysis. Remember the story about the four blind men and the elephant?

The first man felt the elephant's torso and said it felt like a stone wall. The second felt its limb and said the elephant was like a tree trunk. The third man felt the tail and said the elephant was like a rope. The fourth man felt the ear and said the elephant was like a large cardboard tray.

Aren't we like these blind men trying to quibble about the 'elephant' we can't see? Isn't it strange that the 'Muslim God' gave his followers a nose, a pair of eyes, ears, arms, legs, a pancreas, a liver; the ability to smell, talk, etc. and the 'Christian God' decides to do the same?

The Hindu God and the Buddhist God have also decided to do the same as well. A simpleton like me will believe that the 'two Gods' or all 'Gods' for that matter are either one and the same, or think and act very much alike. But who are we to dispute the well-read theologians writing letters to the editor here?
