Last week, the Taliban killed one of their 23 Korean hostages in Afghanistan claiming they have the right to kill non-believers and that this was jihad. Unfortunately, the whole Muslim world - including the OIC - decided to keep mum over this outrage.

It was actually a very good opportunity for the moderate Muslims to condemn barbaric acts done in the name of Islam. But unfortunately, every one chose to shut their mouth. So how can you blame the Western countries for being Islamphobic?

I am sure by now, all the Koreans in this world would be 'Islamphobic'. And who is to blame?

As for us the non-Muslims in Malaysia, what we saw in the incident is a group of people trying to do good to other people even if they are of different faiths. But instead they got kidnapped and one got killed.

This is obviously not helping the image of Islam. It's worse when everyone, including the mainstream media, decide to acts like nothing has happened.
