I refer to the Malaysiakini report Chua's sex scandal: Farmer remanded .

We read in the news that a woman and a farmer have been detained by the police for allegedly distributing the Chua Soi Lek sex video. The crime, it seems, was 'distributing sex videos'.

This is certainly a laughing matter. In the first place, I can easily get sex videos by the bundle at any shop selling pirated videos. In the second place, many of these pirated videos are not edited in terms explicit sex scenes.

Anyway, what if you have got taped evidence of the sexual impropriety of a minister? Which channel are you going to use? Hand it over to the Anti-Corruption Agency? Hand it over to the police?

Well, this evidence could 'disappear' or end up in cold storage. Why do I say this? Just look at how many opposition police reports have been taken seriously by the police for instance.

The police and ACA might instead harass you and charge you under the OSA or whatever they can think of. So what if a good citizen to do if he or she stumbles across evidence of wrongdoing by top government leaders?

Just keep quiet? Or give it to the opposition politicians? Then the government will say that this is an opposition shenanigan with no truth to it.

Dear Malaysians, I really need your help as to how I should go through the 'proper channel' if I ever came across such evidence.
