I refer to the Malaysiakini report BN: No action against Sapp .

Sapp's move to pass a vote of no confidence against the leadership and administration of PM Abdullah is a sign of Malaysia's maturing democracy. Acts of political will like this is what will see Malaysians becoming more aware of their political rights as lawful citizens of this country.

It should not be taken as strange or rude or that it is against the norms of the Malay culture. It should be addressed as a sign of political maturity which the young in Malaysia - who have become first-time voters - are witnessing.

The federal-state government demarcation should be debated and argued in parliament as this fact seems to be the main weapon which the centre uses against the states to get its way with the federal funds it collects from the people.

From what has been witnessed thus far, we see that Pakatan Rakyat seems to be moving in the right direction in including the people in their decision-making process.

Never mind if the second deputy chief minister was not allowed to give free spectacles to school children in Penang; Pakatan Rakyat must continue to knock on the conscience of the people and be active where it really matters ie. welfare.

In the pursuit of wealth, the BN administration has forgotten the masses in Malaysia who are mostly living from day-to-day. It has to be made to understand that meg-projects that are only for certain parties to make a quick gain is not in any way helpful to the masses.

What is the use of having the state-of-the-art infrastructure in Putrajaya when there is no proper roads in Sabah? What is the use of having stadium after stadium being built when we can't even win one major tournament at the Asian level?

What is use of saying that we are an educational hub in Asia when our schoolchildren can't even speak or write basic English after 11 years of schooling? What more can it be then having no confidence?

We have to say that Abdullah inherited a corrupt system from his predecessor but at least he could have shown his sincerity in ensuring that the system was dismantled and a clean and fair system was introduced instead.

A mismanagement of the economy with bad decisions being made on fuel prices and the failure to control its spiralling effect has made him look like he is throwing cotton candy to the masses to stop the boiling lid effect from taking place.

We have had enough. The Abdullah administration must go and it must be replaced by a administration that is serious about stopping the rot of corruption, patronage, racism and discrimination.

Replacing the PM with the deputy will not be enough - there must be free elections of candidates in the coming December Umno polls. Political blue bloods and family dynasties must not be allowed to take root in the choice of candidates - it must be the ability to govern and administer the country fairly that must take precedence.

If this is not taken into heart what more can we do then to have no confidence? Please folks, lets support the brave lawmakers and allow them a chance to show their capabilities in leading the country. If Obama can do it, I am sure the Pakatan Rakyat can.
