I write with regard to a few issues which Malaysiakini may know about already, but I would like to comment as follows.

When does your news site become impartial and apolitical, a term widely used but rarely practiced ? Your reports praise the opposition, but sneer at the ruling party's comments.

Are you aware that this is a majority-run government, elected by the people? Are you aware that BN has the largest representation in parliament? These are facts, not my creations.

I only elect the government, but I don't belong to any party nor favour one or the other. I will vote differently the day I find a better government or people who can govern better. You and me know that the last election was a tsunami , and a tsunami is rare, so expect the ruling party to be in the vast majority again come the next polls.

Friends and relatives of mine who voted for the opposition have openly voiced among us their error, and that they wanted to just have more opposition in Parliament. Consider it as an exercise gone wrong, and the next election, it may be the other way round - everyone voting for the ruling party to avoid being one of those who contributed to this error.

So far this error was a good thing, but the opposition has shown that even in government they have an ‘opposition mentality’. Street demos, rallies and so on. Comments by none other than the ‘Demo and Rally King’ Azmin Ali.

What do they do when they rule the state? Organise rallies and 15 to 20 thousand people is a big deal of a turnout.

We millions stay at home. Count that, it is an even bigger a number. Don't misjudge us silent majority. When you get a chance to rule, grab it and show you are better, not organise rallies, demos etc, and tell us you have a right to do it. Sure you do, but what's their point? You now rule, so walk the talk.

As the government in Selangor, Penang, and three other states, is this necessary to have rallies? Do you see the ruling party doing it ? I admire Nik Aziz and Kelantan, the people are happy, and as a non-Muslim, I do not fear PAS.

At least we know all the problems regarding religion we have been having comes as a result of the ruling party's decisions and not PAS’. Kudos to PAS. Nik Aziz and his party are true to their beliefs and I will definitely have no issue being under their rule.

Kelantan has been a model - and a extremely good one - of an opposition party ruling a state. Maybe Nik Aziz should come to Selangor and rule, but knowing him, he will choose to be with the lovely people of Kelantan.

You condemn people who crossover from PKR, but praise those who go the other way (into PKR). Why is this? Are crossovers, as certain people keep commenting, the only way to get to rule?

I hope it happens, then the people who have the power - the silent majority - will wield it as we are the ones who elect governments, and we will not allow or permit orchestrations to rule. This is a desperate way and will never succeed as the next elections will set things right and ensure that even crossovers won't help.

Such masters of crossovers will never see the inside of parliament again. Those of you who would support such crossovers would instead do better by telling your elected representatives to work hard and to convince even more voters at the next election.

Regarding Ezam, you single him out, however there were more who crossed back to Umno. If you cross one way, what is the big deal in crossing back? If you had the goods on the ruling party when you were with them, then you also must have the goods on the opposition.

Let him be heard. This is your democratic belief and credo. So practice it and don’t have two sets of rules.

A tsunami and still a ‘lame duck ‘ government has a majority of more than 15%. Imagine that it took a tsunami just to deny them a two-thirds majority. So what do you think it will take to topple the ruling party?

You want change? You will get it and so far I hope you all are happy as for the last four months we have had nothing but turmoil and the economy is being effected. Wait till you all start losing your jobs.

I should know for I work in a company which is suffering and the 300 of us workers are under the threat of losing our jobs. We will try to live on the opposition’s words and hope it fills our families stomachs but you can bet these 300 will vote for the ruling party the next time.

Things were good before this error happened , and nobody knows better than that one opposition leader who now runs a state who said, ‘We never expected this, we only expected to have more reps in the state assembly’.

Crucify me or agree with me but we have to go on with life and when a better life is promised, than we should work towards that. As each election comes and goes extend your gains.

Having crossovers to get to run the federal government is only allowing more Ezams to run our country. Does that sound good to all of you who condemn the government?

Good luck to my fellow Malaysians. God bless us all, we will need it the way things are going.
