Amendments to the Internal Security Act and the Police Act, especially on the right to hold assemblies, will be tabled in the October sitting of Parliament sitting and if possible approved in December.

Home Minister Hishammuddin Hussein, in revealing this today, said the government will hold discussions with all stakeholders before that.
