Sekinchan assemblyperson Ng Suee Lim today confirmed he will file his defense against Selangor Menteri Besar Dr Mohd Khir Toyo, who is suing the former for claiming that he had bought a RM24 million house.

Ng’s lawyer M Manoharan said he had filed a memorandum of appearance on behalf of Ng to confirm a reply to Khir’s summons will be filed within two weeks.

khir toyo mansion 060709 08 "We will contest the case and fight all the way," said Manoharan, who is also Ng’s state legislative assembly colleague representing Kota Alam Shah.

Earlier today, at a press conference in Shah Alam, Ng said that he will provide evidence in court to support his valuation of that Khir’s controversial mansion.

Khir filed a defamation suit against Ng last week after the latter refused to retract claims that his Balinese-styled home in Shah Alam costs RM24 million.

Previously, Khir 'offered' Ng the opportunity to act as a real estate agent to sell the property at that price.

Ng gladly accepted the challenge and sought an official appointment letter from along with keys to the property as he had clients wanting an immediate viewing.

Khir, however, did not comply.
