The Sultan of Kelantan's elder sister Merjan Tengku Yahya Petra today lodged a police report over a CD (compact disc) recording alleged to contain details of a conspiracy to overthrow Sultan Ismail Petra Ibni Almarhum Sultan Yahya Petra.  

Tengku Merjan lodged the police report at the Ampang Jaya police station here at 2.30pm.

In her report, she stated that she had received a copy of a CD wherein at a closed-door meeting held at a hotel in Kota Bharu recently, certain individuals had plotted to bring about a palace coup.

Ampang police chief ACP Abdul Jalil Hassan confirmed receiving the report.

He said it would be referred to Kota Bharu police because the incident is alleged to have taken place there.
