9.00am : The pro-PAS National Felda Settlers Children's Association (Anak) will hold a two-day 'Himpunan Warga Felda Kebangsaan' at Sungai Tengi, Hulu Bernam.

PAS leaders including MP for Titiwangsa Dr Lo' Lo' Ghazali will attend the programme.

At night, PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim will attend a ceramah there. The party's candidate, Zaid Ibrahim, is expected to be there as well together with Hassan Ali and Mohamad Sabu from PAS.

9.30am: DAP parliamentary leader Lim Kit Siang will hold a media conference at DAP Kuala Kubu Bharu operation centre, followed by walkabout with other leaders in new villages in Hulu Selangor.

9.30am: The DAP leader declared that an internal survey showed PKR's Zaid Ibrahim is trailing in the Hulu Selangor by-election campaign.

He said BN's P Kamalanathan was leading the race because of Malay and Indian voters and thus Zaid would need to secure at least 85 percent of the Chinese vote to see him through.

10.00am: PKR Youth deputy chief Fariz Musa and four others are expected to be charged at Kuala Kubu Bharu court for allegedly tearing down BN posters and possession of dangerous weapons.

10.00am: Selangor Menteri Besar Khalid Ibrahim will have a dialogue session with Felda settlers at Kampung Sungai Buaya, Rawang.

NONE 10.30am: A group of PKR leaders and supporters held a memorial for Teoh Beng Hock at Batang Kali. A gigantic poster (left) bearing the late political aide was strung by the roadside.

The 50 people then read out an eulogy prepared by the Association of Aides to Selangor Pakatan Rakyat Elected Representatives (SELPROA).

10.56am: Selangor menteri besar has promised to resolve abandoned projects in Sungai Buaya, Bukit Botak and Bukit Cerakah soon.

Abdul Khalid Ibrahim said a three-month grace period would be given for any interested developers to come forward and revive the projects.

11.00am: Less than 48 hours to go before the polls, PKR candidate Zaid Ibrahim's schedule turns tighter.

He will attend a press conference at the party media centre in Kuala Kubu Bharu before performing Friday prayers at Bandar Utama mosque in Batang Kali (12pm).

He will later visit Taman Sungai Buaya (4pm), Pekan Rasa (8pm), Apartmen Teratai (9pm), Sg Tengi, Hulu Bernam (10pm), Hulu Rening, Batang Kali (11pm) and Kg Melayu Rasa Tambahan (11.30pm).

12.00pm: MIC Youth and Olympia College will hold a press conference at the campus to confirm that BN candidate P Kamalanathan's university degree is not fake as claimed by popular blogger Raja Petra Kamaruddin.

NONE 12.09pm: After Selangor exco Dr Xavier Jayakumar yesterday accused BN's P Kamalanathan of being a "phantom voter" in the Sungai Siput constituency , Malaysiakini today carried out a check on the Election Commission (EC) website with the IC data provided, and the result shows that it belongs to one P Kamalanathan, who is a voter in the parliament constituency and Jelong state assembly seat.

The seat was a stronghold of the MIC's long-time president Samy Vellu before PSM's Jeyakumar Devaraj seized it from him in the 2008 general election.

1.00pm: Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak will perform Friday prayers at Ar-Rahman Mosque, in Kampung Sungai Buaya.

He will later have lunch with imams and Hulu Selangor district mosque's committee at

Kampung Sungai Buaya (2pm) before announcing incentives to mosques and surau at Masjid Ulu Yam (2.30pm) and walkabout at Kampung Ulu Yam Barat (4.30pm).

2.05pm: Umno Youth chief Khairy Jamaluddin claimed, on his Twitter page, that Selangor state Islamic authority (Jais) prepared a political sermon at Friday prayers just now "with subtle and not so subtle hints" to vote for PKR.

NONE 3.00pm: PKR deputy youth chief Fariz Musa (right) and four others were released after being charged under Section 427 of the Penal Code for causing mischief, and Sections 6 and 7 of the Corrosive, Explosive and Dangerous Weapon Act for having switch-blade.

The five were released after posting RM1,400 bail each.

They appeared before the court at about noon, claiming trial to both charges.

Fariz, who is also Terengganu PKR Youth chief, and the others may face two-year jail terms, a fine or both if found guilty under the Penal Code.

They may also face two years in jail or a fine of not more than RM2,000 or both, if convicted under the

the Corrosive, Explosive and Dangerous Weapon Act .

All were represented by PKR Youth chief Shamsul Iskandar Mohd Akin.

3.55pm: During a speech in Bukit Serendah, Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak promised to build an Universiti Teknologi Mara branch there should BN wrest Selangor from Pakatan Rakyat.

He urged Hulu Selangor voters to get the ball rolling by voting in BN during the by-election on Sunday.

NONE "If we want change, we have to make change. Today, we too much change... If Selangor is won by BN, we will build a UiTM branch in Bukit Serendah," he said.

Najib described BN candidate P Kamalanathan as a good person who will eventually make a good MP.

"He can speak Malay very well. He is friendly and always smiling. You can see his teeth even from afar."

4.30pm: Deputy Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin will meet Hulu Selangor Rela members at MRSM, Kuala Kubu Bharu. He will also attend a dinner with the Chinese business community and NGOs at

SRJK (C) Khing Ming, Kuala Kubu Bharu (8pm).

5.00pm: PKR election director Fuziah Salleh revealed that there are 201 voters aged above 90 in Hulu Selangor. A check by the party with the first 10 voters' families found nine of them had passed away.

The party machinery will continue to check with the remaining voters.

"We know the tactics of BN. We are warning Umno, don't try to use dirty tactics to bring in phantom voters.

"We can detect them. We've already highlighted the names to our polling agents. We will not be afraid to take stern action," the Kuantan MP said.

5.30pm: BN deputy chairperson Muhyiddin Yassin, together with BN Youth chief Khairy Jamaluddin, will be at Ampang Pecah, near Kuala Kubu Bharu. NGOs to announce their support for BN candidate.

5.40pm: Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak announces RM90,000 donation for Ulu Yam Kwang Tung cemetary. 

"Even before winning, we are already giving out an ang pow . If we win, the ang pow will be bigger," he said.

6.30pm: Deputy Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin makes fun of PKR and said the acronym stood for Parti Kian Runtuh (Party will crumble soon), during a rally in Ampang Pecah.

The PAS spiritual leader, who has had good ties with the former minister since the latter's Umno days, will hold a special press conference at the Hulu Selangor district office bungalow at Jalan Kolam Air, Kuala Kubu Bharu.

8.30pm: Nik Aziz Nik Mat will later attend a ceramah at Assam Kumbang before moving on to Rasa (9.30pm) and Batang Kali (10.30pm).

8.40pm: Aware that the death of Teoh Beng Hock is still fresh in the memory of the Chinese community, deputy premier Muhyiddin Yassin told a Chinese crowd at Kuala Kubu Baru that the incident has saddened him.

“It could be that he slipped or there was an accident. Maybe he committed suicide... We don't know and I'm not making claims. Malaysiakini better not misquote me," he said.

9:00pm Former PKR Hulu Selangor division treasurer Dr Halili Rahmat, together with BN deputy chairperson Muhyiddin Yassin, will attend a ceramah at the BN operation centre in Taman Anggerik 3, Bukit Sentosa.
