Blogger Kickdefella or Syed Azidi Syed Abdul Aziz today continued giving his statement to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) over his receiving a RM4 million allocation.

MACC director of investigation Mustafar Ali, when contacted today, said that Syed Azidi arrived at the MACC headquarters in Putrajaya at about 3pm.

"He had brought along additional documents as reference for the MACC," he said.

Syed Azidi recently claimed that he received an allocation of more than RM4 million in three years to discredit and weaken the leadership of Abdullah Ahmad Badawi when he was prime minister.

He also alleged that the Kelantan PAS government had channelled the funds to him to organise psy-war activities to discredit the federal government to ensure that PAS continued to rule Kelantan.

Meanwhile, Puteri Umno has called on Kelantan menteri besar and PAS spiritual leader Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat to respond to Syed Azidi's allegations "if PAS leaders believe they are on the right side and practise what they preach as Muslims".

"Perhaps they are now discussing to find a way out and shift to others the burden of proving they were not involved," Puteri Umno chief Rosnah Abdul Rashid Shirlin said in a statement today.

She said if Syed Azidi was brave enough to make the revelations to the MACC complete with evidence, then PAS leaders especially Nik Aziz should also be brave to prove otherwise.

Rosnah said Puteri Umno believed that the people could judge wisely Syed Azidi's revelations and whether PAS was really "clean" and sincere in struggling for Islam.

She said the people should therefore we wary of PAS' tactics as they could  be bedfellows with the DAP, but would always point the finger at Umno if their members or strongmen crossed over or exposed the ills in PAS.
