The women wing of Parti Keadilan Rakyat today emphasised that the party be the lead in the DAP-PAS-PKR pact, claiming that PKR has the best ideology among the three.

Wanita PKR chief Zuraida Kamaruddin said the party had the qualities needed to lead the opposition pact.

"The current political scenario is too strain that requires PKR to lead the pact despite the various setbacks.

"We have to restore the party's credibility after many have jumped party," she said when winding up her debate at the 6th PKR Annual National Congress in Kota Bharu today.

PKR Lee vice-president Lee Boon Chai said the party would not get the people's support if it did not have a strong struggle and by just being anti-Umno.

"PKR has to have a good economic planning. We cannot rely on the anti-Umno sentiment forever," he added.
