Sergeant N Tharmendran of the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF), who has been indicted in the civil court over the theft of two jet engines belonging to RMAF, is also being court martialled for alleged dishonest misappropriation of public property and also faces an alternative charge of accepting stolen property.
