Haze: More areas in Johor hit unhealthy level
The haze condition has worsened in Johor, with the Air Pollutant Index in three more areas rising to unhealthy levels at more than 100.

Pasir Gudang, Larkin Lama and Kota Tinggi recorded 113, 105 and 106 on the index at 7 this morning.
Conditions deteriorated for Kota Tinggi and Larkin Lama, with the index reading climbing to 107 and 109 respectively at 11 am.
Schools in Muar reopened today after the air quality improved compared to earlier this week where it reached unhealthy levels.
The reading for Muar at 11am today was 73, which is within the moderate band.
By 5pm, Kota Tinggi’s reading dropped to 98 landing back in the moderate band, while Pasir Gudang’s index reading dropped by three points but remains unhealthy at 110.
Conditions at Larkin Lama slipped slightly with an API reading of 110 compared to 109 earlier in the morning.
