A 'kurang ajar' minister defending his turf
'He has the cheek to say that the DAP rep and his small entourage comes for a ‘demonstration' when they were surrounded by 30 Umno thugs.'
Sekinchan rep caught in a scuffle in Tg Karang
VK Ling-a-Lingam: Is this the way to treat an elected representative when the farmers themselves invited him to come to the area to help. The reason for their decision to invite DAP state assemblyman Ng Swee Lim is because you (Noh Omar), as the Umno division head and minister, had failed to solve their problem.
It is the bumiputera themselves that you are bullying when you are supposed to be helping them. Bernas is supposed to be helping the farmers earn a good living from their hard work, not taking advantage of them.
Anonymous: It looks like we have gone back to the warlord era. Tanjong Karang belongs to Noh Omar. The joke is he has the cheek to say that the DAP rep and his small entourage came for a "demonstration" when they were surrounded by 30 Umno thugs.
Baqaalam: Noh Omar said that "Ng got what he deserved for coming into someone else's territory" and "You tell that Sekinchan assemblyman, jangan kurang ajar (don't be insolent). Jangan datang kawasan orang lain (Don't come into someone else's territory)".
This is typical arrogant and ‘kurang ajar' culture. By the way, minister, Tg Karang is no one's territory - it's 1Malaysia owned.
Pity Him: The comments are hardly surprising coming from an Umno leader. After all, they will defend Putrajaya just like this man is defending his turf. He is just demonstrating what his boss said. They own everything in Malaysia, so beware after the next general election.
Black Mamba: Umno has proven to have violent culture in Tanjong Karang. A case of the pot calling the kettle black ?
Komtar traders leader dares DAP rep to a fist fight
ACR: This is hilarious. A fist fight to solve problems?
So if Komtar Traders Association vice-president Mohamad Ghani Abdul Jiman wins the boxing match, he can do whatever he wants - is that what he is implying? He should live in the jungle and have a match with the wild lions and tigers because they live by that rule, not human beings.
He can relocate all the Komtar traders to the same jungle since presumably by having him as their association leader they are all of the same breed, no?
Adcin: So when Penang builds condos under BN, it's for the Malays? Under BN it's called development, but under DAP it's called profiteering and spoiling nature and bringing more Chinese to Penang.
Who allowed all the land reclamation in Penang and was it for the Malays to stay? Must have been Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng somehow because he is always the one to be blamed!
Teoh inquest: MACC officers not ruled out as suspects
Bobby Cheng: The truth shall prevail. Yes, MACC, you can try to cover up and may even escape punishment. Blood is in your hands, even if you wash them clean. There will be a mark on your head that will never be erased from history. God is watching. The rakyat is watching too.
The rakyat are not fools to believe a sane person will commit suicide over a mere RM1,700. Only an idiot will come out with such an excuse.
Anonymous: It appears to be quite clear in the mind of any ordinary person that homicide has been committed by at least one of three persons from the MACC. Hence the quite obvious attempt to cover up and pull out red herrings to distract from the truth, which they already know.
The investigating officer appears to know who did it, but also knows that Putrajaya will finish him and his career if he so much as squeaks the truth. Hence his predicament when answering questions.
He appears to be someone who is used to telling the truth, and is not comfortable in his current 'gagged' state. Who would not be?
Lim Chong Leong: Suicide also got suspects? They helped to open the window or what? Or they held TBH (Teoh Beng Hock) outside the window to help him commit suicide?
Rick Teo: There must be some honest souls in MACC who will come out and tell the truth. I am quite sure someone in MACC knows who murdered Beng Hock. There is simply no reason why he would want to commit suicide over a paltry sum of RM1,700. Further, he was looking forward to his marriage and his unborn child.
Wira: Thanks to the persistency of Lee Lan, the sister of Teoh Beng Hock, it will be difficult for Malaysians to forget this case no matter how long they drag this. Teoh's memory will surely resurface in every election.
Seremban: Why don't the police then arrest these three MACC officers and subject them to their infamous torture to extract a confession?
Teoh Inquest: Bottle and doll reconstruction flops
Changeagent: If TBH cannot be proven to be involved in any corrupt practice, why would he need to write an apology note? What was he apologising for?
The inquest could not uncover any dirt against TBH, and this explains why they do not want to pursue the testimonies of the companies linked to the four quotations. The whole claim about the suicide note feels very fabricated and just does not seem to add up at all.
Ira: The theory "if someone jumped out the window, the body would be found further away from the wall" sounds as silly as the one which says "a dead body is heavier than a living one."
Is there any reason why someone contemplating suicide must jump away from the building like a superman? Can't he just take one small step and fall? One thing sure though is that if he is thrown out by two burly men, he would surely have landed far away from the wall.
Now how about looking from this human angle. If you were to register your marriage to your lover the next day who carries your child, would you for no reason commit suicide?
