PKR Youth has urged Umno and Malay rights NGO Perkasa to explain their links with a blog said to have leaked a short video clip purportedly featuring Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim.

NONE “The issue before us is to identify the blogger. If (Umno and Perkasa) have information pertaining to the case, we hope they will cooperate,” said its deputy information chief, Rozan Azen Mat ( right ).

He said this when contacted after having his statement recorded at the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) headquarters in Cyberjaya today.

He said that he is asking them to cooperate as PKR Youth believes there is a link between the political party and the NGO with the blog Papagomo.com , which he accuses of distributing the video clip, as the blog carries links to both organisations’ websites.

“So we are urging them to deny their involvement with this blogger. If they continue to be silent, we will assume that they colluded in this cyber-crime,” said Rozan Azen further.

Rozan Azen gave his statement for about an hour today pursuant to his earlier report to the commission against the blogger known as Papagomo, whom he claimed was complicit in the leaking of the video clip.

He said that the last time he surfed the blog was this morning, having found the video clip still posted on the site.

He alleged that on the blog it was displayed clearly that visitors “can download the Anwar Ibrahim porno video at Papagomo”.

The video clip NONE is believed to be an excerpt of a sex video screened to selected journalists, senior editors and certain individuals on March 21.

Other than Papagomo.com , Rozan Azen’s report also named Pisau.net and Gerakanantipkr.blogspot.com as the offending parties that need to be investigated.

Also in the report, PKR Youth urged the the commission to investigate a YouTube user named ‘thepowercam’ who initially uploaded the video clip.
