Why Soi Lek is jealous of Ibrahim Ali

your say 'Expecting Najib to 'get rid' of Ibrahim Ali is like expecting a pile of fresh horse dung to solidify into a diamond.'

Soi Lek's faith in 1M'sia to oust Perkasa 'nuisance'

Ethnicmalaysian: Here we go again. MCA chief Dr Chua Soi Lek is desperately grasping at straws and struggling to stay afloat without any success whatsoever.

To say that Perkasa is merely a nuisance and a fringe lunatic group to be ignored is disingenuous at best and downright deceitful at worst. So we do nothing and continue to support Umno until Perkasa becomes an uncontrollable monster?

Rwandan Hutus and Bosnian Serbs did not suddenly wake up one fine day and decide to butcher their neighbours, friends and work mates. It was done through a sustained period of hateful incitement and fear mongering, and the creation of a siege mentality.

Sounds familiar, Chua?

Swipenter: PAS members took the cue from the ‘Arab Spring' in their just concluded muktamar by voting for progressive and forward-looking office bearers, but MCA leaders are still stuck in the game of racial politics together with their big brother, Umno.

MCA doesn't even want to know or want to acknowledge that they are out of sync with the new generation of Malaysians. They refuse to see why and how the Chinese community are deserting them in droves and would not touch them with a 10-foot pole.

The Chinese community knows that the political life of this country depends very much on the Malays, and fortunately the progressive and moderate Malays also knows that political stability of the country cannot be achieved without the support of the non-Malays.

MCA, tell us how can you (and MIC) achieve political stability for the country with Umno when Umno is hell-bent in championing racialism and the ‘ketuanan Melayu' ideology and runs the country alone ignoring and marginalising you (and MIC).

Quigonbond: CSL (Chua Soi Lek) has his head stuck in the mud. Without Umno's connivance, Utusan Malaysia would not have given the space it gives to Perkasa now.

Pakatan Rakyat has already said that they are not objecting to the idea of 1Malaysia, only that in the light of Umno-led BN government's complicity and failure to act against extremist views of Utusan /Perkasa/Pembela, it ends up being a hollow sloganeering.

If MCA can't see past that, then they lack the wisdom to be counted as an influential political party fit to lead Malaysians in the 21st century.

David Dass: What is the path to 1Malaysia? Perkasa chief Ibrahim Ali prescribes a way to somewhere and that somewhere is not 1Malaysia. He aims to stir up the Malays against the others.

What is CSL's way? Simply ignore the rhetoric of racists? Who speaks for the middle ground? Who speaks for the moderates? Is the fight simply for scholarships, university places and contracts? Does the MCA fight for the equality of all citizens of Malaysia? Is the MCA concerned about the integration of all Malaysians?

Is the MCA concerned about the quality of education in the country? Is the MCA concerned about the low level of non-Malay participation in the civil service and the security forces? Is the MCA concerned about the consistent application of the rule of law? Is the MCA concerned about freedom of worship and truth and justice?

What does the MCA stand for, CSL? Malaysia cannot be a country where each race looks after its own without regard for the others and the direction the country is taking.

Francis_14a3: CSL, you are dead wrong. I am always proud to call myself Malaysian wherever I go, be it US, Australia, Cambodia or anywhere. If I identify myself as Chinese, I am afraid they may think I am from China.

But somehow when I am back in Malaysia, I tend to refer myself as Chinese instead of Malaysian. I blame this on politicians like you, who always indulge in the same old dangerous game of racial identities.

It is best we all consciously call ourselves Malaysian, but it must start from people like you and Ibrahim Ali.

Lover Boy: CSL, you appear to want to distance Perkasa and Umno. However, Perkasa is the flip side of the Umno coin. They are one.

I hate to say this but you are blind not to be able to see this. The venom Perkasa spew would have warranted incarceration under the ISA. But what happened? Nothing. Why? Because Umno members enjoy such immunity.

CN Yee: Perkasa and Ibrahim Ali are backed by mightily powerful power mongers like Deputy Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin and ex-prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

MCA can dig its head in sand and pretend that everything is okay, but not for anybody else with an ounce of intelligence. That's the type of attitude that makes MCA irrelevant.

Soi Lek, please face the reality. MCA was made irrelevant by Umno first before it was rejected by the voters.

2CTS WORTH: Where is the leadership? Najib can't handle Ibrahim Ali nor Utusan when they spewed poison and hatred between the races. Chua's silence when they did this shows he is a gutless and ineffective leader.

1Malaysia has turned to be a mockery and a big joke.

AnakBangsaMalaysia: Is Chua Soi Lek just comatose or is he really that obtuse? Perkasa is Umno and Umno is Perkasa.

Perkasa and the other so-called NGOs like Gaps are just the subcontractors spun off from Umno to do the dirty and thuggish work of shouting 'Ketuanan Melayu' after Umno realised that it had been shooting itself in the foot for decades. Not that the outsourcing of the dirty work has helped Umno in any way.

Expecting Najib to 'get rid' of Ibrahim Ali is like expecting a pile of fresh horse dung to solidify into a diamond. We hope Chua will have fun waiting.

In the meantime, we have a country to save from the Umno-BN regime and its spineless apologists like Chua.

Ibrahim Ali: Soi Lek jealous of me

BTN: Both of this morons is fighting over who is the better idiot. We have a Malay who tried to give an interview on international cable TV and ended up answering shit... shit... shit , making a fool of all Malays in this country, and on the other end, an old Chinese man who can't keep his pants zip up, thus making a mockery of all MCA Chinese.

SusahKes: Ibrahim, I pun jealous of you la... dalam Malaysia ni, mana ada orang dapat ‘special treatment' macam hang? Cakap bukan main api keluar, s--t, s--t, s--t keluar - semua boleh.

Tapi sampai sekarang, siapa pun tak berani ambil tindakan yang sewajarnya ke atas you. Utusan Malaysia pun ada dapat sikit-sikit ‘warning'.

Nasir Safar - dah resign. Ahmad Ismail - dapat suspension, walaupun sekejap je. Tapi you - no problem. Semua-nya okay. Mana ada orang dalam dunia yang so untouchable la?

Tu la sebab Chua jealous...
