PKR Youth has weighed into the ongoing fuss over the presence of seven ‘glamour girls’ at the MCA Youth’s recent annual meeting.

Yesterday, MCA Youth chief Wee Ka Siong accused PKR Youth, its information chief in particular, of starting speculation about the women’s identities, leading to ‘slanderous’ comments and pornographic pictures being posted about them online.

NONE Responding, PKR Youth information chief Lee Khai Loon ( seated centre in picture ) said Wee's outburst was an unfounded personal attack against him and slander against the PKR wing.

"Without cogent evidence, Wee had irrationally directed a personal attack against me."

Lee said that despite reporters asking Wee about the possibility that the sites hosting those disparaging photos and comments were run by impersonators and not PKR Youth, the MCA Youth chief simply went ahead with his accusations.

Turning the tables on the Ayer Hitam MP, Lee said that it was MCA Youth that had slandered PKR Youth in making the allegation that the wing was behind the site that disparaged the women.

mca youth agm 011011 wee ka siong He attributed the MCA Youth's tactics to an attempt to divert attention from the real issue at hand, which is their use of the beautiful women to 'adorn' their function, without any real respect for the women in question.

Denying that PKR Youth had anything to with the postings, Lee demanded an apology and retraction from Wee ( right ) within 24 hours.

"Failing this, PKR Youth and I personally will consider taking legal action," he warned.

The 'glamour girls' caused a sensation at the recently concluded MCA Youth AGM, after they were paraded into the venue to the applause and cheers of the BN Chinese party's Youth wing.

The matter had elicited criticism from PKR Youth for the expliotation of beautiful women as attractions at party functions. However things got out of hand when netizens joined the rush to identify the women in question.

Yesterday, Wee held a press conference at Parliament House and hit out at Lee and PKR Youth, whom he accused of being responsible for the online crusade and postings.
