'Zul, why should you put conditions to debate with the eminent constitutional law professor? If you are a man, just debate with him.'

Aziz Bari agrees to debate Zul Noordin

your say DannyLoHH: What would a country become when the intellects and academics speak with principles are being haunted and pounded?

What sort of a ‘leader' that shoots down messengers who speak the voice of reason? What type of ‘democratically elected' people representative that promote feudalistic values rather than democratic principles?

Specifically, what wrong had Dr Abdul Aziz Bari committed? In my opinion, Abdul Aziz should be lauded for the courage to speak up against a sultan decree that is questionable at best.

All the hoo-hah on Abdul Aziz's comment, but none have the intellectual integrity to point out on what points Abdul Aziz's statement is wrong.

Did the sultan's decree based on principle of natural justice (Islamic or otherwise)? I do not know, but Abdul Aziz's statement is definitely based on constitutional and democratic principles.

On the other hand, Kulim Bandar Baharu MP Zulkifli Noordin has no principle, he survived by playing up sentiments with words like ‘rude' and ‘insolent'.

Fencesitter: Professor Abdul Aziz Bari, do not waste time with these idiots. This is a democratic country and you can have your opinion whereas these ‘long-jump champions' can have theirs.

As you are a law professor, we trust you are more knowledgeable. The idiot who asked you to stand as a candidate must have pea brain. He who challenge another must be able to do vice versa otherwise he should shut his mouth.

If you challenge him to be a law professor, he is not qualified likewise to his challenge you can stand as a candidate in GE13.

Gandhi: The learned Prof Abdul Aziz should ignore this joker of the century. I'm puzzled over Zul Nordin, who has the audacity to challenge an expert at constitutional law.

All he knows is about Talibanism which has no place in a democratic country. Zul, Malaysians are sneering at you and you haven't stopped being a clown. You have no moral ground to stand in front of this professor who has enlightened the public on many constitutional matters.

The public have not heard any sensible contribution from you. Silence is golden and try to reserve your challenges to specimens like you, such as Ezam Mohd Nor and Ibrahim Ali.

Ferdtan: Zulkifli Noordin, enjoy your benefits as an MP while it lasts, as in the next election you would not be selected by Umno to contest.

Don't issue challenges for the sake of staying relevant. By asking Aziz Bari to apologise to the Selangor sultan when it was never a issue, you are meddling with affairs of the state.

On top of that you are not a Selangorean; so don't speak on our behalf. Stop dragging the good name of our sultan for your selfish political end.

Abil: Aziz Bari only stated what is constitutional and that too is an opinion and it is only civilised if you have a different opinion to state it so that the educated people would understand the views put forth.

Justice Seeker: Zul, why should you put conditions to debate with the eminent constitutional law professor? If you are a man, just debate with him.

By placing conditions, you are not sincere with your challenge.

You very well know that this principled professor will not apologise to the sultan simply because there is nothing to apologise. Hence you can avoid being thrashed by this professor, who is an expert in constitutional law.

Mamakputra's Stooge: You want to debate but you want your opponent to admit his views are wrong even before the debate.

BTN: Abdul Aziz, that ‘katak' (frog) Zul is a ‘pengecut' (coward). He knows you won't apologise as there is nothing for you to apologise for.

As long as this condition is not met, there is no debate. Such a spineless human being who is making his race and religion look bad.

Faz: To challenge someone to stand for the election is a contest of popularity. You may win the election in your chosen area as you have ‘invested' heavily in the electorate by all means, including bribery.

To win a debate, you must have all the facts. Talking rubbish will win you election at your captive electorate level but not in a debate, as others will see that you are lying between the teeth.

AkuMelayuIslam: "I've never attacked them, so why are they all so angry with me?" - they are paid by Umno to go after those who put the party in a bad light with rational, logic and intelligent.

I think Aziz can take on both Zul and Ezam in one session.

Jedi_Who: All these qualified and capable chaps who speak the truth are being asked to resign from their jobs by the government directly or indirectly. Now, we know why the Malaysian varsities are slipping down the ranks.

Reginald Yoganathan Hunt: When an academic talks politics, he talks academically, but when a politician talks academically, he talks nonsense.

Zulkifli has been talking irrelevance in politics and now trying to be an academic. Best wishes to you.
