DAP will lodged a police report in Penang today over Umno Youth chief Khairy Jamaluddin's sexually offensive tweet last week in over allegations that a blogger had made against Lim Guan Eng’s son.

NONE At the height of the controversy, Khairy, an Oxford graduate, had tweeted “ @PapaGomo Mungkin dia roboh Kampung Buah Pala sebab nak ganti dengan Kampung Buah Dada " (Perhaps he (Guan Eng) wanted to demolish (the Indian village) Kampung Buah Pala to replace it with Kampung Breast).

This was in response to pro-Umno blogger Papagomo’s allegation that Lim’s son had molested a female classmate's "buah dada" (breast).

DAP national chief Karpal Singh said the entire women’s community in the country should rise up against Khairy's ( left ) offensive tweet.

"By referring to women's breasts, Khairy has insulted Lim Guan Eng, his son, women and the traditional Indian community," Karpal added.

The top lawyer added that the report requests the police to investigate Khairy under criminal defamation.

Since last week, Lim Guan Eng has been warding off unsubstantiated allegations by Papagomo, who had named Anya Sun Corke as the young victim.

Corke, whose photo was posted on the blog, has publicly denied the blogger’s claims saying she has never ever met Lim's son.

Defamation suit in pipeline

Khairy, who is Rembau MP, has been heavily criticised for his tweet but has refused to apologise, claiming that BN leaders have suffered much worse at the hands of Pakatan Rakyat politicians.

NONE Meanwhile, Karpal ( right ) said the DAP would also file a civil defamation suit against Khairy, for suggesting that Lim had demolished Kampung Buah Pala.

The CM maintains that the village’s fate had been sealed under the leadership of previous Penang CM Koh Tsu Koon.

Karpal added that the proposed civil suit would cost Khairy very dearly.

He stressed that Khairy was unlikely to settle the cost of such an expensive lawsuit.

"Unless his father-in-law, former premier Abdullah Ahmad Badawi helped him out with the money," quipped the Bukit Gelugor MP.
