Hitting out at PAS as a bastion of "parasites" who have caused the party to deviate from its Islamic roots, Hasan Ali has vowed to go on a roadshow to expose them and explain the real story behind his sacking.

NONE "I have been invited to tour the country, I shall explain during the roadshow about my expulsion from PAS and being dropped as Selangor exco.

"I shall also expose the parasites in PAS during the roadshow. Wait for it,” he told a press conference today.

Hasan said the PAS leadership was riddled with "parasites" who have infiltrated the most strategic high-ranking posts.

"They have managed to rise high in the party. In very strategic positions. They asked to be given the strategic posts."

They were also responsible for having dragged the party away from its Islamic fundamentals, causing PAS to fail in its role as the advocates of Islam, he claimed.

The former Selangor PAS commissioner said he believes that it was the "parasites" who had influenced the party to expel him.

However Hasan refused to provide proof of his allegations, saying that all would be revealed during his roadshow.

NONE Pressed as to who the “parasites” are, Hasan would only say that they are part of an old and established movement which has been 30-40 years in the making.

"The parasites are those who move in groups, have meetings, work in concert with a larger network and have their own mission, vision and goals...

"I know them, I know their network. We will analyse their structure. You know, I like facts and I shall outline the details in my roadshow. You'll see...

"Many of them have been active since their student days overseas. They are now in place and have infiltrated everywhere. And PAS is the green verdant ground they have started to go into."

Hasan said a secretariat soon to be set up by his office would organise the roadshow, which he described as a new "sacred and holy" mission before God.

"My mission is so noble... Only God knows the sanctity and nobility of my purpose now."

Hasan also said he would soon also have a formalised structure for anti-apostasy group Himpun.

"This will be the platform for me to continue my mission," he said.

Makeover for PAS

He warned that, despite being expelled, he still has a strong support base in PAS.

"I don't want to boast, but let be calm down first, later you will see (how big) the groundswell (is). Maybe even the parasites will join me," he joked.

While he is now playing a bigger game as "Khalifah Allah" (God's appointed leader or caretaker of the earth), his heart is still with PAS.

azlan "(Abdul) Hadi (Awang) is still my president. Nik (Abdul) Aziz (Nik Mat) is still my spiritual leader. They will guide me in what I want to do," he said.

Hasan said he would work with those aligned with him in  PAS Youth and with the ulama, to root out the “parasites” and remake the party.

"I want PAS to return to what it was under Fadzil Noor. I am sure Hadi will agree with me on this.

"This is why a person like me is needed to agitate freely from the outside. Those inside are constrained by rules and the constitution. I shall do so with my wisdom, grace, intellect and philosophy.

"One day, when PAS is restored to its former glory, then shall Hasan Ali fill in a new form to rejoin it.”

The wisdom of what he is doing, he added, would be evident from the fact that PAS members in the various states, divisions and branches were now convening meetings to discuss this issue.

This is unprecedented in the disciplined party structure, which usually toes the line set by the central leadership, he added.
