Yet, if they don't toe the party line, then good luck to them, because that will cause more confusion for BN, instead of good.

People go to alternative media to look at other viewpoints. If you want to be successful at neutralising the alternative media, try freeing up the mainstream media.

That would explain the so-called missing immigration records. Or what if she first landed in France under the name of Amina Abdullah whose visa was issued in Kuala Lumpur?

Premier Najib Abdul Razak is not out of the woods yet.

Who has this kind of power in our country? I don't think Altantuya had anything to do with the Scorpene deal.

I guess her death was quickly hooked up with the multi-billion ringgit scandal so that it would get the necessary attention and pressure over time and not just fade away.

I must say, it's simply brilliant. Kudos to the genius mind that came up with it.

Compass: Poor girl. They had fun with her and then they killed her. Is it so difficult for our government to deny that a Malaysan passport had been issued to one Amina Abdullah?

Ferdtan: If the French authority is serious to go further in determining whether Altantuya was in Paris or not, the public CCTVs are everywhere.

As for Najib, it is even much more easier as he is a VVIP, the former Malaysian defence minister and deputy premier - an important customer to France.

I am sure the French government have more than what they want to reveal - you can bet their DGSE (General Directorate for External Security) under the French Ministry of Defence, was tailing his every step.

Most countries do that for foreign leaders visiting their country. It is part of intelligence gathering that is so prevalent in Western countries.

So Najib's fate may hang on the action/no action of the French government led by the newly elected President Francois Hollande.

Sadly, governments especially from the so-called democratic countries never give 'freebies' for the sake of justice. It would only be given if they can benefit from it. Talk of the hypocrisy of democracy.

Jimmy Ng: Altantuya was most likely travelling under a different name and passport. The ‘Amina Abdullah' alias is definitely a possibility since presumably top level government officials within the country would have no problems issuing a brand new ‘passport' to facilitate her travel.

Just cross reference the dates of travel by these leaders to France and ‘Amina Abdullah' is bound to pop out. As Sherlock Holmes would put it: "Elementary, my dear Watson!"

Onyourtoes: This is my hypothesis: How can Altantuya be there when Amina, holding a Malaysian passport, was there?
