 ) said NST will not be the only newspaper he will act against, as he has asked his counsel to send another to a Malay daily after Hari Raya.


 "I do not want to spoil the Hari Raya mood and will send the notice of demand after the festivities," he told

 The letters of demand, both dated Aug 14 from the law firm Vazeer Akbar Majid and Co, were for articles titled "Lawyer keeps mum on Suaram funding" and "Raja Petra's expose to be investigated".


 In the letters, Puravalen claimed that the articles are false and written with malicious intent and is seeking an apology and retraction.


 The lawyer claimed that both articles had defamed him by painting him as an unprofessional and unethical lawyer engaged in unlawful, criminal, unprofessional and unethical conduct and that he is unfit to be a solicitor.


 Puravalen said he was not in the habit of suing or issuing legal notices.


 "They called me a day after the article was published. I don't normally want to sue or issue a demand letter as I believe in freedom of speech.


 "But this is way too much, taking articles from blog postings wholly and checking a day later. It's not ethical journalism," he added.


 "I am not even a Suaram lawyer or a member of Suaram as alleged in the article," he said.

 blog, Puravalen said he did not want to comment on them as it would only result in the blogger conjuring up more things.


 Puravalen and Subang MP R Sivarasa have been

 's target regarding their role in the Balasubramaniam affair.


 Sivarasa has already

 RPK's allegations as "malicious fiction", and described the blogger's postings as his "usual spin of mixing truth and fiction" over the blogger's assertion that he coached Balasubramaniam on what to say at a press conference on the first statutory declaration.
