The ‘Kumpulan Tolak Individu Bernama Anwar Ibrahim’ (Tibai or Reject Individual Named Anwar Ibrahim) today lodged an official report with the Inland Revenue Board (LHDN) on funds worth hundreds of thousands of ringgit allegedly received by Suara Rakyat Malaysia (Suaram).
The issue was raised when Suaram was directly linked to Suara Inisiatif Sdn Bhd (SISB), which received funds from abroad.
Tibai spiritual leader Zahid Md Arip

said the report was made to ensure immediate investigation on Suaram and SISB was conducted.
“We want LHDN to investigate if they (Suaram and SISB) declared their revenue and any foreign funds to the LHDN... and whether they paid tax for the income they received from abroad all this time,” he told reporters after presenting the report at the LHDN office in Jalan Duta in Kuala Lumpur.
He made the report at about 10.45am, accompanied by the presidents of two non-governmental organisations (NGO), Young People Unite Against Corruption (Ombak) president Wan Khairul Ihsan Wan Muhammad and Malaysian Malay Network Organisation (JMM) president, Azwanddin Hamzah.
Zahid said the official report also urged LHDN to review whether Suaram and SISB had declared their revenue.
“If they have declared it, we want LHDN to look through and study the declaration in detail for fear it may be false,” he added.
